STEPHEN BRAY
MANAGING PARTNER / PRODUCER
Stephen Bray, a 30-year veteran of the Entertainment Industry with Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Grammy awards, has contributed to the sales of over 38 million records by RIAA awards alone, world sales at over 100 million. His credits include Record Producer, Songwriter, Composer, Engineer and Artist.
His groundbreaking work with Madonna not only helped launch her career, but established a sound that would be emulated by artists and producers for years to come. Stephen co-wrote and/or produced many Madonna hits; including "Into the Groove", "Express Yourself", "Crazy For You", "Papa Don’t Preach", "True Blue", "Causing a Commotion" and many more. Other artists he has worked with include Gladys Knight, The Jets, Regina Richards, Debra Harry, Kylie Minogue, Jellybean, Grammy nominated band Breakfast Club and many more.
His film credits include Beverly Hills Cop II, Desperately Seeking Susan, Who’s That Girl (also as score composer), Earth Girls Are Easy and Peeples. He has created works for Sire, Warner Bros, MCA, Atlantic, Epic, Sony, Geffen, EMI America and Hollywood Records to name a few.
In 2005, his Broadway debut as composer / lyricist of The Color Purple earned him one of 11 Tony nominations. In 2017, he won the Grammy award for Best Musical Theater Album /“The Color Purple”.
ELYSE SCHILLER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER / DIRECTOR / CREATIVE LICENSING
Elyse has 20 + years experience in music branding as co-founder/composer of custom music house Shake A Leg Productions and electronic lifestyle label, Global Sophisticate Records. She has produced unique sonic identities for dozens of broadcast marketing campaigns, award winning rebrands and launches, main title themes, and promo campaigns for clients that include, AMC, ABC Daytime, Disney, Columbia Tristar, E! Entertainment Television, Fox News, GSN, HBO Family, Lionsgate, MGM Grand, Revlon, Quincy Jones (UPN), Showtime, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox Television and more.
From 2011 - 2015, Elyse helped build out the synch licensing department at Angry Mob Music and jump-started the custom division. Integral in developing the ‘mob’ core client base, music supervising and placing Angry Mob artist songs in numerous high profile TV shows and films for clients including CBS, NBC, Fox, Showtime, Cinemax, ABC Family, AMC, USA, Sy Fy, and Paramount Pictures.
San Francisco transplant to LA, Elyse was signed early on to Columbia Records, where she churned out dance floor hits with co-writer Chuck Fuller and producer Randy “King” Jackson of American Idol fame. Since 1998, a core member of electronic downtempo band Porkpie, songs from Porkpie’s, “Global Cocktail Chilled” and “Spascape” albums can be heard in many feature films and TV shows.
MICHAEL VERDICK
MANAGING PARTNER / ENGINEER / PRODUCER
Michael Verdick is a 30-year veteran of the Entertainment Industry, with Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Grammy awards, and has contributed to the sales of over 63 million records by RIAA awards alone, with world sales at over 100 million. His credits include Record Producer, Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Music Editor, Sound Director (video games), has managed CD artwork and manufacturing (Unitone and Healing Rhythms), and has served as A&R for Universal (MCA Records) and Unitone Recordings.
He has worked with artists such as Madonna, The Eagles, John Lennon, The Jets, Bryan Adams, Juice Newton and many others, and has contributed songs (and underscore in a few) to major films such as Born On The Fourth Of July, Who’s That Girl, Beverly Hills Cop II, Terminator and others. His company list includes major labels such as Universal, Warner Bros, Capitol, Atlantic, Columbia, DTS, A & M, Interscope and Dreamworks to name a few.
He has managed three and owned two recording studios, and has consulted for numerous artists and companies, including Larry Carlton, Motown, MCA Records and Mix Magazine, and helped create over 26x Top 40 hit singles and over 24x Top 100 albums, including the 2009 Grammy winning album ”Prayer For Compassion”.
Michael was awarded US Patent #5,684,879 for a multichannel headset design, is an alumni of Record Plant studios, and was awarded a Grammy Certificate in 2009.
